Deposits and Payments
A deposit of one to three night’s tariff per week or part of week, per unit is required to secure a booking. This can be paid by credit card, (M/C, Visa), cash, money order, cheque or direct credit.
Balance of tariff to be paid on arrival. No refund is available for cancellations after holiday has commenced.
Gift Vouchers require full payment on purchase and no refunds are available for any part of the gift voucher.
Packages require half payment on booking and full payment one week prior to arrival. No refunds are available for any part of the package.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, EFTPOS, cash, money orders and travellers cheques. Other cheques by prior arrangement only.
Cancellations and Refunds
For bookings at Bright all times except School Holidays, Longweekends and Local Festivals, deposits will be refunded, less a cancellation fee of $50, if 30 days notice of cancellation is given.
For multiple unit bookings or bookings of more than a week, deposits for each unit or week are not transferable to other units or weeks in event of cancellation within 30 days.
School Holidays, Longweekends and Local Festivals the period of notice for cancellation refunds is 60 days.
Checking In and Out
Check In time is between 2.00pm and 5.00pm or by prior arrangement if you are going to be later than 5pm. Arrivals after 10.00pm are also possible but arrangements must be made before the day of arrival to give you access to your unit after this time. If you are arriving in Bright before 2.00pm arrangements can be made to store your luggage if you inform us before the day of arrival but units will not be available before 2.00pm.
Check Out time is 10.00am on day of departure. There are facilities to leave luggage in storage on check out if you wish to enjoy more time in Bright.
Office Hours
Our office (located at Alpine Valley Cottages 2 Alexandra Ct - across the rial trail from Highland Valley) is usually open from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Smoking
Highland Valley Holiday Units are smoke free inside the units. However guests can smoke on the verandahs under cover.
Pets
Highland Valley does not accommodate pets (guide dogs excepted), but there is a kennel and cattery just a few kilometres from Bright.
